We just signed a real estate listing agreement today here on Long Island.
After checking out a few more new homes, we've decided to buy pre-existing in

strange one!
Hi Les,
First of all I'm sending this as a private "e-mail". I'm doing it this
way mostly
because the subject matter really doesn't fit into a VP category, and I
don't
especially want to start a thread that I suspect very few people would be
interested in.
Would you mind explaining the above paragraph in a little more depth?
Why
Summerlin, and what have you found "screwy" with the new home purchasing
process? The reason I'm asking is I have a cousin heading for Vegas the
first
week in August with the sole purpose of buying a second home. Would you
believe she has not been there for almost fifteen years? But on with the
story....
All her knowledge (the little she has) has been over the Internet, and that
of
course basically entails new stuff in Henderson. Solara, Anthum, etc.. I
guess
she has seen the home prices going up very quickly, and it's driving her
nuts.
I hope you don't mind letting me know a little of your experience
there. She's
73, and I'd hate to see her make a silly mistake. I certainly know everyone
is
different, and the same things don't mean the same to different people. I'd
just
feel a lot better if I could point out some of the bumps in the road that
she may
miss.
Sure appreciate any consideration you'd give to this request. I also
want to
congratulate you on doing so well with the VP your last trip there.
Royals to ya,
Ed.......
