Does anyone have any recent experience with casino rate at Orleans? I have a
brother, a new VP player, staying there in a few weeks. He hopes to have his
room rate adjusted to casino rate and will be playing mostly .25 DB. Any
thoughts on how much he will need to play to get casino rate?

An Orleans source says that $1500 - $2000 coin-in per day
for casino rate, and $6000 - $7000 per day for a comped room,
for someone playing 25c vp who hasn't played there before.

I think anyone whose ever gambled a dime there is getting offer's for free room's. My wife and I got one for two night's in December, if we pay for one, but i'm not sure if we can use it.
They were also offering room's fo r$20 in December on their website, www.orleanscasino.com, so its cheap enough even without comp's.
