A friend just took us to see "O" tonight at the Bellagio. Seats range from
about $94-150. We booked through a host and had excellent $150 seats. This is
the 4th time we've seen the show, and I would just like to reiterate for
anyone who hasn't seen it - this show is just unbelievable, amazing, fantastic,
breathtaking, beautiful. Did I mention amazing?
This is one show that actually is worth $150.
Probably everyone on this list has dropped $150 into a VP machine without
batting an eye. Yet spending $150 on a show may seem expensive. Well, in this
case it is worth it.
If you haven't seen "O" - book it for your next trip. Performances are
regularly sold out months in advance. If you have a MGM/Mirage playing card at
all, try booking it through a host. Just call the host desk at the Bellagio and
they probably can book in a shorter time period.
By the way, the show has been "tweaked" over the years, and isn't exactly the
same as it was 4 years ago, or 3 or even 1 year ago. Also apparently some
items may change slightly depending on the availability of personnel. For
example in tonight's show at the "high dive" at the end, we saw 3 divers dive
together, plus 2 single dives. In previous shows we've seen 2 single divers, or
even just 1 diver.
So if you haven't seen "O" I really urge you to do so.
