XVP-No more witholding taxes on jackpots for Canadians?

My biggest single win was $1,000.00 on the slot machine, it spat out the ticket, although hand pay is $1,200.00 and over (I believe), so as a Canadian, I was happy to get what I did. And being the first few hours after arrival all the more sweeter. (In Canada, I get hand paid for $200 or more on some machines)

This was posted in early January. I too can't find any confirmation of
this. Any Canadian here that can confirm or deny this???
