The CAT system has changed the #213 route and for VP players it's for the best. This bus is now rerouted to travel from Boulder Highway and Flamingo/Harmon via Harmon to Maryland Parkway (UNLV), N on Maryland Parkway to Twain, West on Twain(turns in to Spring Mountain when it crosses Paradise) to the west side of Town. This makes for an added way to get from Sam's Tow/nLonghorn to the Strip (Spring Mountain/Fashion Show Mall and L.V. Boulevard) . Added to the SAM's town shuttle to the Stardust gives you now multiple option to go to the Boulder Strip Sams Town area from the Frontier thru Riviera part of town. To get to Boulder Station use the #112 on Ceonvention center Drive (Board in front of the Greek Isles) and get off at Desert Inn and Boulder Highway.
The Boyd Casinos and many other consider check cashing privileges and markers one and the same. Thus you can get a line (or cash a check) at many places and avoid the outrage of ATM fees. For VP play you take your marker at the cage, and usually if you don't pay it back from your Royal's, they send you a bill in about 10 days and if unpaid after 30 days they just run it like a check thru your bank.. If you are not a compulsive gambler and have the money in your account (when you sign the marker you state that the money is in your account)this beats ATM fees and is a safe way to avoid walking around with cash when not needed for gaming.
The Riviera has a graveyard shift buffet for about $9.99, $2 coupon for this in Casino Player Fun Book, and $1 coupon for it in the Riviera Fun book. For late night hunger pangs in the N. Strip a fair option.
