XVP, Mosaic restaurant

I was raving about Mosaic at the last get together. Here's their link:

There were 4 of us and I think we had the Trio Temptation, Mozzarella and Tomato Salad for appetizers; For entrees I think it was the Veal Victoria, Ahi Tuna and Porcini dusted scallops.

Everything was wonderful. We did a lot of plate sharing and you could have given me anything from anyone's order and I would have been happy. One of the top 4 restaurant meals I have, the other 3 being The Lark, Rattlesnake and the Whitney.

Highly recommended. A good place to use up a Greektown comp balance.

Mosaic is great unless you order a dish and find that it is topped
with some kind of sweet sauce that I got on my fish the last time I
was there. Read the item menu really carefully. Sugar over fish goes
together like milk over a salad.

Sweet Georgia Brown's is still my favorite restaurant in that area,
although a little pricey.
