(XVP) LVH Different question

BTW, if you are a member of Hhonors you no longer get points at the LVH for
comped rooms. I noticed this a few weeks ago qas I went through my Hilton
stuff. You can still credit for the stay though. this means that all stays
count toward the various Hhonors levels. You do have to call the Hhonors
customer service number and ask for those stays to be added.
Even as a Silver, the last time there (September on a birthday offer) we got
an extra large room with a sitting area. No stay credit, though, despite
repeated requests to HHonors. You can still redeem points for awards there.

My experience differs from this account. For my stay last weekend, I
received not only 4 nights stay credit but also the standard 10
HHonors points (+ tier bonus) for each $1 charged to my room (a good
reason to settle the bill w/ CC rather than from my cb/comp acct), and
500 airline FF miles.

I provided by HH account number at checking ... the credits were
automatic within the week.

I actually wrote about this, not Bill. But anyway, this is interesting as I always provide my Diamond card at check in, along with my SWA card, but they do not post until I call Hhonors directly. The last guy told me the stay was in the computer, but since it was comped I got no points, but I did get the RR credit and credit toward Diamond. I go back in two weeks, we'll see than.
