XVP - Low Level Blackjack in San Diego area Casinos

Any one have any info on blackjack for $3 or less in the San Diego area casinos. As long as Blackjack pays 3 to 2 and you can reasonably double down and split it would be satisfactory (i.e, less than 1% house advantage with proper basic strategy). The idea is to have an evening of fun before or after a local casino event without risking a lot of money. By giving in your card while playing the offers you get should wipe out that 1% disadvantage. Likewise at the $3 level the value of free non alcoholic drinks also reduce the edge (I do not drink and would hope no on else who drives to the casino does either unless accompanied by a designated driver) to near nothing. A show game of 3 to 2 on blackjacks, double any first 2 cards, and split up to 4 times is adequate even if they hit soft 17. My gut feeling is that even for low level minimal play the offers you get and comps while playing kn0ock out the minor advantage to the house if you play your cards
right (pun intended).

I've never seen $3 offered anymore.
MOST are $5 min- - daytime only.
And most do not offer the ideal rules you mention.

You can probably 'split', but not so sure you can DD after splitting..

By evening, most mininums might even be $10.

Viejas has a pretty large selection of of such tables.
But again- if there are promotions going on, the mininums are raised.

Valley View & Barona used to have $5 mininums too, but not so sure anymore. ALL casinos are desperate for business, and evening crowds keep the mininums higher.

As for ideal rules, do watch out for the 'vegas' payouts on sgl deck games (i.e. not the 3-2 for BJ). Better rules probably found on shoe games...

GL in your searches...

Yep.

Valley View may have one $10 table -- AND the only 3/2 BJ payout -- with all seats jammed with nudnicks.

My favorite: having a match play coupon for $5 when the minimum table is $10. Pit says "come back later."

Depending on local policy and how much of a hurry you're in, you could probably bet $10 with the coupon and then they only match $5 of the $10 if you win.
