XVP - Little Known and often Not Bust Downtown Eateries

When downtown and having just arrived you often want to get something
to eat, but see a horrendous line at a place that doesn't give
priority
to Gold Card Players or Comps. I use Cal's Market St Cafe as an
example, in that, while the lines have moved more quickly not that the
restaurant is non smoking, there still is a line.

Two places come to mind, and if there are any more suggestions as
places where waits are usually minimal please feel free to add.

One is the 2nd St Grill at The Fremont (excellent and not that pricey
even though it's a gourmet room though always better with a comp)

Second is the 777 Brew Pub at MSS. When question 5 passed (restaurant
non smoking) they chose the option of serving food as their priority
rather than being just a bar where smoking was allowed, thus now you
have
an excellent non smoking bar and restaurant with TV's and prompt
service open 24'. I use them when I arrive and don;t have the time to
wait in
line, but I believe they would give priority to Gold Card and Comp
Customers. Any other places like this downtown?

Inside Binion's - adjacent to the poker room - resides
a NY style deli - it may not be gourmet - it may be
slightly noisy - but the quality and the quanity of
the food stands above these inconveniences.

In all of our trips - we stay and game downtown - so
it is to our advantage to locate those places who
excel in their service and food preparation.

Great food there. There is even a 2/1 coupon in the
American Casino guide and you can use your points to
pay the rest of the bill. Also, try the other little
eatery for its hamburgers. I haven't tried it yet but
heard they are great.
