xvp - Legends & Price is Right

The phrase "I could care less" has been replacing the correct "I couldn't care less" as meaning that one doesn't care about the idea at all. The former implies that one cares a lot about something, and thus could care less.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves. I always correct people when they say it wrong. I think they cannot get their head around the negative "could not"

Glad to see I am not alone

I may be swimming against the tide, but I strongly prefer the new "I could
care less." It's more streamlined, feels modern, and comes with a delicious
tinge of sarcasm. One vote in favor!
