I can't see how this series could possibly help the Nugget get anyone
interested in staying or playing there. I think it's doing nothing but hurting the
new owners.
I have been an invited guest there (out of the blue) with a Crown suite and
full comps, but probably wouldn't bother to go again, especially if that
goofball junior host was assigned to me.

This is what I've wondered about the "American Casino" series for some time. I only saw a couple of episodes, but it seemed to me that if the main characters weren't bickering, they were out getting drunk. If I were a major investor in Station Casinos, they'd be hearing from me.

I can't figure out how the new owners made their millions.
They come off as a bigger joke than Abbott & Costello, and twice as
dumb.
I also didn't care at all for the other casino TV show about
GVR, where all the employees were portrayed as belligerent poor
managers, brow-beating their employees into submission. Their
patrons weren't portrayed in a much better light.
So much for "any publicity is good publicity, as long as my
name is spelled right". I think that the kind of guests attracted
by this lowbrow series, are not really what they were hoping for.

I admit to watching it, but only for the great aerial shots of the
Strip and Downtown, and I like Matt Dusk. I think it would be more
enjoyable to watch with the mute button on. Except when Matt sings.
