I have been having this same experience anywhere I stay where I am not comped
in Vegas. Last visitin June, I told my quest that I was thinking of packing
my own refrigerator as asmall one is sufficient and I certainly would pay for
it in two months!

China,

Would you mind letting us know who is charging you so we can avoid
them? I have never had a problem other than the one at LVH (The
original message is mine not casinochristy.) My rooms are always
comped but the LVH wanted to charge me anyway. I surveyed a few strip
hotels and all of them said they do not charge if the need is medical.

FWIW - In Atlantic City, Harrah's, Showboat and Borgata have small
refrigerators in the room as standard amenities. Resorts doesn't (at
least the tower that I was in), and when I rquested one, they asked if
it is for medical use, implying they may have given me one, if I said
yes.

I don't know about the other casinos.

My husband uses Byetta with good results also. Barbary Coast did
not charge in early July for our room that was comped 5 nights out
of 8.

Vegas Club charged us $5 per day in September for fridge in a
comped north tower room, but a fridge is standard in the MVP room
which normally is $10 more, so I just requested the upgrade to MVP
for my comped room last time (in February) and received it no
charge. (they still won't give up that $1 a day for the safe
though!)
