On a recent stay the Las Vegas Hilton added insult to the injury of AA
removal by attempting to charge me $10 per day for a room refrigerator
for medical purposes. As recently as May they were providing them free
of charge. I got by using an extra ice bucket but others whose
medications require tighter control of temperature range than mine may
have little choice but to tolerate this price gouge. Or better yet just
dump the LVH.
I have never had a problem with any hotel in LV or anywhere else
providing a room refrigerator for my medication. In a quick survey I
called three of the strip hotels, Caesars Palace, Venetian and Wynn and
learned they continue to provide room refrigerators free of charge for
medical reasons.
