We have been up to Mount Charleston a few times. It is a nice drive,
beautiful up there, and there is an area where you can have a picnic. There is also
a small casual restaurant if you prefer that. Valley of Fire is also a nice
drive and a beautiful area, but if you will be there in the summer it will be
very hot at Valley of Fire and Mt Charleston we be at least 20 degrees cooler
than Las Vegas.
