The new transit guide published by CAT, is one of the best guides anywhere. It even has a page (183) that tells you which transit routes serve off strip casinos. there are timetables, route maps, points of interest traveling info, and route frequency tables. More orutes are 24' now as well as frequnecies have been increased on Flamingo and Tropicana. You can use them to go everywhere except when u have a lot of luggage fromt he airport to/from your hotel in which case a shuttle would be best (NEVER use the taxis as 60% of them have been found to illegally take the airport tunnel toincrease your fare by $10-$15 except for the very south strip where this would be OK) . They have simplified the fare system, $2 strip, $1.25 elsewhere or an 24' pass strip and residential areas $5, or residnetial areas (means all except strip) $2.50.
For one who plays FPDW at $7.50 hour, saving by using CAT instead of rip off taxis is like playing for a few hours on an average stay. ,
