Many of us in the AC area are shocked and saddened to hear of the death of
John Frey. He was a good friend to many, and will be deeply missed. He
was
a an avid VP player, with a great deal of gaming expertise, as well as a
frequent poster to the VPFree group. Knowing that others may have formed
long-distance friendships, via the internet, it seemed appropriate to pass
along this note.

Just read this tonight while catching up on email.

I never had the good fortune to meet him but I appreciated his comments &
good citizenship very much.

I remember one post in particular about why he and his wife would start out
with one-coin play in Pick'Em & change to max as conditions warranted. He
made quite a good case for this strategy.

His insight and level-headed contributions will be missed.
