CHESS: Was at a poker room in Reno, when the dealer tuned the overhead
monitor to ESPN's recent broadcast of former world champion Garry Kasparov against
Fritz3D (a computer). Turns out the dealer was a tournament director for the
Western States Open which will be held next Feb at the Sands Regency. Sands
holds many of the major regional chess events.
