This a great group and while I've been just observing for the past
4.5 months, it has been very entertaining and educational. I only
get to Vegas about once a year, but in March I have two trips
planned, (business and pleasure). While I'll be concentrating on
playing VP, I know that many of my collegues will be playing Poker
and BJ and I'm sure I'll be joining them for a few hands as well.
My concern is the comments I've occasionally read about casinos
moving toward 6:5 payouts on BJ, getting rid of lower-limit tables,
etc. Is there a Blackjack group (BJfree?) or website that is
similar to this one where I can find out what table minimums and
rule variations are offered at the hotels I'll be at (Flamingo and
Luxor) or near (Strip) so that I can practice using the appropriate
basic strategy chart(s). I'll need to have this chart memorized
quite well as the Testosterone levels during these
convention/business trips can be quite high, openly using a chart
will not go over well.
Thanks in advance for your help. I'm sure you'll hear from me in
February looking for VP recommendations and updates prior to my
visits (1st and 3rd weekends) in March.
