XVP: Interesting article about Sheldon Adelson

The link below is to an in-depth article about Sheldon Adelson that
appeared in the June 30th edition of The New Yorker magazine. The
link will take you to the website of The New Yorker. The article is
quite long - approx. 13 pages, and provides a lot of information about
his involvement in Isreali politics and the Macau casino industry.
Having only been to Vegas a few times, I had very little knowledge of
Mr. Adelson (as an individual) and his degrees of "influence"
and "business practices". Needless to say - I would not want to be on
the opposing side of an issue with this man.

Ooops, may have given a wrong impression. I'm certainly "in
oppostion" to him politically. In my first post I meant I wouldn't
want to be opposing him in a "litigious" matter. He seems to
definitely be someone who not only needs to win - but has to crush the
opposition as well.
