XVP In Defense

Last nite, while enjoying Binion's Thankgiving Dinner, I learned that
I was personally responsible for the elimination of all of their "good
Machines" I had indicated that I had said that "They were giving away
the store", etc
Drivel !!!
On August 14th, I enquired re: the Monday and Wednesday promotion on
vpFREE Message 46987
On August 15th, Message 47053 indicated that the promotion ended.

Two women, with nothing better to do, are attempting to spread a rumor
which is completely untrue. Unlike the Dancer Paymar debate, I do not
intend to drag this out but merely to say that the 2 in question
should find someone else to slander.

If anyone has any evidence to the contrary, please bring it to my
attention

Thank you
Elliott Shapiro

I haven't heard any rumours, so I can't speak to that, but I went back to see what post 46987 said. The interesting point here (if there is an interesting point), is that Ms. VP Free responded to your initial post and provided some good info. IMHO, Ms. VP Free is the queen of discretion, and I don't believe that she would have responded to you publicly if she felt that your query was out of line.

It was pure coincidence that I enquired about a promotion one day
before it ended. The requirement of $12,500 coin in to make it worth
UNDER 101% dissuaded me from considering it. I could find no other
messages that pertained to it so do not understand why the removal of
the machines could possibly be attributed to me.
I never set foot into the place untill September and that was for
another reason entirely.

Thanks for your comments

Two of the ten 25-cent Double Bonus Triple Plays had already been
downgraded before your post. Many people did grind out the $100 per
day Bonus Cash on these machines but they were not resposible for the
termination of the promotion. The promo was killed by the pros
playing the 99.9%ish $1 video blackjack machines installed at the
bars. On these machines it was easy to grind out the maximum $100
bonus in a little over an hour so of course the next step was to play
on multiple cards to circumvent the daily limit.

Who knows why they chose to remove the Triple Plays. On a strictly
advantage per hand consideration, the 25-cent FPDW and JWKB today are
a better play then what was offered then.
