XVP: Hi folks!

Just a quick update:

I have completed the chemo-radiation therapy and will having some tests done in the next week or two to determine how effective it was. I am still a little under the weather from the treatment and have just started to get to where I can actually get some things done in the last couple of days.

Overall, I have come through it pretty well. I probably lost 8-10 pounds over the last 8 weeks, but since I started at 250, it's not that much. I am still mostly taking liquids and soft foods as the radiation has caused some esophagitis and I'm trying to to irritate it as much as possible.

Thanks to all of you for your kind thoughts, wishes and prayers!

Hang in there.

Hah!
I just realized I said I was trying to irritate the esophagus as MUCH as possible instead of as little.
Combination chemo-brain and senior moment, I guess.
Thanks,
Skip

heh, heh! I do stuff like that without ANY excuse.

Really good to hear from you, Skip.

Best wishes,
Dunbar
