XVP: Health Care in LAS at 3 am

My son, an UNLV student, goes to UMC Quick Care
on Russell Road when he needs medical help. He gets
seen right away, it's covered under our medical and it's
actually cheaper than going to the emergency room. You
may want to check into it to see what your plan covers.
I also believe that they have some facilities open 24/7.
Perhaps if she was seen by a Dr at a quick care first she may get
faster service at the hospital. My son was very pleased
with the fast service and quality of service he received.

Health Care in Las Vegas certainly leaves a lot to be desired. Anyone know where to go next time the wife gets a gall stone at 3 AM on a Saturday night? Everyone I've talked to has given up on all of the emergency rooms in town: count on a 5-8 hour wait. If you're not bleedin', you're not needin'.
