We followed George Carlin's career since our kids were in college,
and George was doing University gigs. When he was "on", he was a
very funny man. He will be sorely missed by his fans.

If he was around to give his own eulogy, it would probably begin

I really liked George.

A guy I knew said as a college kid he had a chance to see George. He
and a friend didn't have $$ to buy tickets. They decided to go to
theater George was at and thought they might see him walk through
hall at back of building. They were outside looking through a glass
windowed door. Sure enough, George went through and saw them
outside. He opened the door and asked them what was up and they
explained. George took them to show as his guests and had 2 seats
placed in front of first row just for them. I guess George was an
interesting guy.
