XVP; Harrah's - a bit too much

With the purchase of PH Harrah's now owns (9) casinos? Shame on Las Vegas for allowing such an onslaught. The future will read the "Harrah's Strip". Is it any wonder there is no playable vp on the strip? While I don't care for AC, I believe they regulate a maximum of three casinos by one owner. I haven't been to a Harrah's property in about ten years and this is one of the reasons why. On another front I gave up on Mohegan Sun (haven't been there 2-years this Sept) because they reduced the full house on DDB from 45 to 30 coins. I was informed yesterday from a player that they have now restored the f/h to 45., but it is too late for me. When they lost the players they didn't care until the recession hit....Foxwoods will never learn the lesson...Rod

Will be going to LV in May....It will be worth the wait to play some full pay....

So what is the difference in AC? Maybe they limit the casinos that can be owned by one owner...but the VP still sucks

It's supposed to be limited to three. But count the HET number--Showboat, Caesars, Bally's and Harrah's.

Well 3 by one owner can’t be right since Harrahs owns Ballys, Showboat and
Caesars in addition to the original Harrahs so I guess maybe the limit in AC
is 4. And remember when they took over all of Park Place/Caesars
entertainment properties they had to sell one in Lake Tahoe because it was
considered a monopoly so why aren’t they doing that in Vegas – I guess
everything will either be owned by HET or MGM Mirage soon!

No. Except for the Taj, which has it in dollars, every place in AC has 9-6 JOB in quarters while there is not a single such machine on the Strip under a dollar.
