XVP -- Good view of Bellagio Fountains

The Fontana in the Bellagio has a patio with an excellent view. Drink prices
are hefty. Mon Ami Gabi at Paris across the street has a patio with good
views as well. It's a restaurant, not a lounge, but you should be ok ordering an
appetizer with wine or drinks. Food is good and pretty reasonable if you do
want to enjoy a meal.

Also consider Ah-Sin at Paris. Same good patio view, and a suprisingly good value with decent prices and excellent food - try the sesame chicken, wor-bar wonton soup, tempura, or sushi - all excellent. And, compable using Park Place comp dollars. Incidentally, the Paris now has an easy-to-use kiosk next to the slot club where you can write your own restaurant comps.

Across the street at Paris is good, but my favorite is from a window seat at Jasmine's Asian restaurant on the water inside Bellagio's. The music plays inside during the show, you can see everything, and you're RIGHT THERE. You can get a comped meal there too - but probably at a bit higher points cost. But if you go for the show, that part shouldn't matter.

Or you could take your friend up to the top of the Eifel tower at
night which gives and incredible view of the fountains and Vegas.
