XVP -- Good steakhouse in Reno

You will not find a better steakhouse in Reno then Harrah's Steakhouse, period. Order the Absolut Prawns as an appetizer-not on the menu, you have to know about them-amazing taste.

I second Dave's comments. I try to visit Roxy's whenever I go to Reno
and I always have a great meal. It's my top choice for Reno
restaurants. And the good news is that the price tag is about 30% of
Aureole, Delmonico, etc. The wine list is extensive, too, but not
expensive.

Elito...

I just got back from Reno last weekend and had two excellent meals

at the

Eldorado. I had a prime rib (NOT in THEIR steakhouse) but in

Roxy's. I can

honestly say, it was the best tasting prime rib dinner I had EVER

had (and I

have had a few). Another night, I had a large (they had some clever

name for

the size) filet. Excellent. A couple of caveats, however. At

Roxy's, they do

NOT have baked potatoes. Only garlic mashed; also very good.

Will have a quickie get-away in Reno/ Lake Tahoe area.
Can anyone recommend a good steakhouse. Price a la
Delmonico/ Aureole/ Prime is no object ;-)!

Thanks,

Elito

I'll go along with this. I've had steak dinners at Harrah's two
times and each time was GREAT! An additional
recommendation...The Steakhouse At The Circus (although it's
been awhile since I've eaten there).
