I just got back from Reno last weekend and had two excellent meals at the
Eldorado. I had a prime rib (NOT in THEIR steakhouse) but in Roxy's. I can
honestly say, it was the best tasting prime rib dinner I had EVER had (and I
have had a few). Another night, I had a large (they had some clever name for
the size) filet. Excellent. A couple of caveats, however. At Roxy's, they do
NOT have baked potatoes. Only garlic mashed; also very good.
If you are looking for a STEAKHOUSE, then I like the ambiance of the Silver
Legacy's steakhouse. They also have a fabulous Sunday Brunch/Buffet in the same
setting.
Lastly, these may not be the best (I haven't tried every place in Reno), but I
would not hesitate to go back to either place again. Meal for two ran about
$100 with tip.
