XVP-Going to AC at Easter

I'm going for three nights to Atlantic City on a LFB comp at Showboat and was wondering
what is new and "must do" or "must see" but as I cannot get an answer (after several emails)
from the AC-VPP group to whom I applied a week ago for admission,I was wondering if
anyone here have any additional advice, recommendations or pointers. I've checked the
database to see what is playable and can only hope that in some instances it is up to date.

I followed an earlier thread on this board where certain members felt that winning at VP was
a remote if not impossible occurence in AC and I just hope that is not the case when I get
there.

We were at the Showboat in early March. I can't comment on the entire
data base, but I can confirm that it's accurate for 9/6 JOB. We played
the slant tops in the House of Blues area.

I must have been one of the people lucky enough to experience one of
those remote occurances, as I did quite well there, with three royals
in about 20 hours of single line play. I hope you're as fortunate.

Showboat has been our homebase for the last few trips, and we
have enjoyed ourselves. The House of Blues casino (where the
good JoB and DDB are) is very nice. The Showboat's buffet is
one of the best in AC, but can often be crowded, so if you are
interested, go at an off time. The other best buffets are at
Borgata and Bally's Wild Wild West, IMHO, and those are also
my other favorite casinos. WWW doesn't quite have the VP
selection, but their bar has great margaritas and
cosmopolitans:) Borgata is AC's long-awaited Vegas-style
addition and doesn't disappoint. Every meal I have eaten there
has been great (Suilan for Chinese and Mix for fusion, along
with more informal fare), drink service is spot-on, chairs are
comfortable, and they have a good VP selection. It even smells
nice. I would also suggest visiting Tropicana and its new
addition, "The Quarter," which is themed around old Havana.
The AC outpost of Red Square (also at Mandalay Bay) is there,
as are many other restaurants and bars. I have not had much
luck at Tropicana, but do enjoy The Quarter quite a bit.

Have a great time!

Hi,
I hope your trip is a success.
I am a VPFREE atlantic city member and usually everybody is very helpfull about these issues. The best thing for you to do is this: on the webpage of VPFreeAC there is a search field and you can put a key word 9/6 JB (if thats what you play) and the previus posts will pop up with detailed descriptions of where to find the machines.
At the Showboat there are 9/6 machines in the House of Blues section multiple denominations. Many casinos have 9/6 in high denom., but not 25c.
Ballys, which is now a part of Harrahs Ent. has plenty of dollar 9/6 JB and one $1 Full pay PIckem machine, 16 25c Pickems.
25c. 9/6 are available at Trump Plaza, Harrahs, Resorts, one machine at Taj Mahal.
Most casinos have real nice Sunday brunches for $35-50.
        Good luck.
