Pure and simple anti-American propaganda. Shame on you and everyone who
believes that kind of poppycock.
The complete absurdity of that claim reveals the deep hatred of our Nation
and twisted mindset that is fortunately becoming a decreasing minority view
amongst our citizens.
The French have done nothing to help us in well over two centuries. Their
major military effort in the last century was the Maginot line which enabled
the brave French (there's an oxymoron) to defend against the advancing
Germans for a little over a month before surrendering in WWII. The citizenry
then cheered the occupying Germans as they marched down the Champs Elysees.
If Bush smarter, he would send a platoon or so over to France while we are
still mobilizing in Kuwait. A few dozen guys with two tanks and some Hershey
bars could take over Paris in about a week. That would take care of the
French. The only reason the French are so tight with Iraq is that Iraq has
the only armed forces in the world that surrenders quicker than the French.
