"Master of Hawks" is the first book I wrote, and it is also available. It is science fiction/fantasy, and features the adventures of a bird telepath who acts as a scout during a war.
Spellstone's protagonist is a woman sorcerer, a half-breed, hated by her father's human family and kingdom and by her mother's people (the Sylvan, who live in gigantic trees and who can shape them with their telepathic powers). Her father killed the evil sorcerer Shaltus, and now his wraith wants to kill her and her family, so she must unite in an uncertain alliance with another sorcerer and his team to defeat it.
