This short term local hasn't enjoyed the extra humidity - my arthritis is
kicking up and I don't like it!!

I guess we should consider ourselves lucky. We live in Peccole Ranch, about
a block south of the Suncoast. We were home at the time. I was scared to
death (well, not that much!) when horizontal hail the size of marbles
started pelting our windows -- sounded like we were under attack, but no
windows were broken. The only "damage" was one of one of the glass tops of
our patio tables blew up (!) and off into the yard about eight feet away,
but didn't break, either. Lots and lots of wind and rain, but no flooding
at least in our cul-de-sac. The electricity stayed on. We didn't go to any
casino either yesterday or today. We'll try Thursday.
