Try signing up for Southwest's weekly click n' save specials and perhaps even their "Ding" program. If you need to cancel, even on a non refundable fare, you can use the funds towards a future trip. Also, check out Amtrak Service via CLE-CHI-KNG (shuttle Kingman to Vegas) -they also let you use tickets towards future travel or have a refund fee (Amtrak) of only 10%. The Shuttle from Kingman comes in to the LAS airport level 0 for easy connections to city buses 108/109 to the SSTT, UNLV, Downtown, Hilton/Stratosphere and connections to other routes.

anyway, normal airfare right now is about 350.00-400.00 because of the price of fuel.
but there are specials out there , even in the range you used to pay. but since you are
traveling on a set date in june you wont find those specials. there were a few specials like
200.00/rt but they are sold out already. i found a fare at 288.00+taxes round trip from
columbus, ohio but these fares wont last long. I am a member of vpfree and I am a travel agent
in las vegas. like i said i tried to email you but it bounced back, otherwise, i wouldnt have had
to bother the rest of the group with this. I wish you luck and if you need help and/or want to book
this or want a vacation package/ air and hotel for vegas let me know.

I'm trying to go to Las Vegas June 22-25 flying from Ohio. I can't find
any airfare under $350. I've tried everything, expedia, travelocity,
southwest airlines, priceline. I'm trying to fly out of Cleveland,
Canton/Akron, or Columbus.
Do you think airfares will go down soon? Or should I bite the bullet
now and pay $350. I don't want to take a red eye home.
I've never flown to Las Vegas for over $250 but I haven't bought a
ticket there in about three years.
Any help?
