I know of several Indian casinos, such as Win River in Redding, CA, where the expiration is 24 HOURS. YES, 24 hours! And yes, its clearly designed to keep money the casino deems is already "theirs."

No one is forcing anyone to gamble at those Indian casinos. If customers
don't like their rules (24 hours, etc.), then they don't have to play
there! Seems like a no-brainer to me.
