Is anyone in the group playing in the El Cortez slot tournament on
May 24 and 25? If so, have you heard anything from them since you
sent in the entry form? I sent mine in a couple of weeks ago, and
haven't heard a thing. I thought they would have sent some kind of
confirmation by now. Then again, I guess you have to consider it's
the Cortez. The information they sent also didn't mention whether the
tournament was free, or there was a fee. I've never played in any
kind of tournament at EC and I'm not sure what to do, or who to call.

They don't send confirmations. If you want to confirm call
reservations (1-800-634-6703.) There is no fee for the tournament.
If you haven't stayed there recently, you will be pleasantly surprised
by the remodeled rooms. Enjoy the tournament.
