The economy seems to even affect VPfree posting volumes. In 10 of the last 11 months
the monthly volume of posts has been less than 1000. Previously, for several years,
it has rarely been less than 1000. This could simply be a statistical oddity (sort
of like a bad VP session). But I doubt it because gaming activity in general has
significantly declined during this period.
XVP: Downturn Affecting VPfree?
I think it has more to do with the loss of playable video poker.

I have certainly declined during this period. A
bankrool that was $20,000 plus 4 years ago now stands
at.....$2.44
Why? Overplaying the bankroll to stay at nicer
places, less than 100% games, and very little cash
back. Oh yeah, a royal drought from hell kinda
figures in there as well. Last week at M Resort - two
players, $30,000 CI, a $2500 loss on quarters. Games
of choice were 8/5 bonus and NSUD. What's that - an
8+% loss? I call it bad luck.
Next time you see a guy begging on the strip think of
me - it will probably be someone experiencing the
Depression like I am! Give the guy a buck or two...
