Will be taking a trip to LV next week. I usually play VP until my eyes
squint and then I want to do something entirely unrelated. Does anyone
know if this is a good year for spring wildflowers in Death Valley?
I've never been to Death Valley in the early spring and I would like
to take a bunch of pix with my digital camera (to put up on the 'Net,
ideally)
if there's a lot of good color this year.

There's certainly a lot of wildflower color around Lake Mead (Railroad
Trail two weeks ago) and down by Lake Havasu, so I suspect you'll do
fairly well at Death Valley.
