XVP - Cox Cable

I got this message from Cox:
Introducing Cox High Speed Internet Security Software We have taken all the features of our Anti-Spyware and Pop-Up blocker software and added three new programs to give you additional piece of mind while online. Our new Security Software now includes:
  a.. Desktop Anti-Virus protection: help detect and eliminate viruses on your PC
  b.. Firewall software: help keep unwanted Internet users from accessing your machine; and
  c.. Parental Web Controls: help filter the sites your kids are visiting and set time limits for Internet use
I am not technically savvy, as everyone knows - so I need help. Has anyone downloaded these and are they working well? I have Norton Virus Protection now - should I download the Cox one and will they play nicely together? I don't need Parental Controls but I do not already have firewall software. I have liked the Anti-Spyware and Pop-Up blocker software that Cox gave me earlier - and all this software is free - but I don't want to download something that is more trouble than it is worth!!!!

I tried putting on the cox security software and it will not work with Norton. You have to uninstall the Norton. I would also have to uninstall my firewall and those I already have paid for so I did not want to change. I understand by what I have read that the cox one will put $5.99 more on your bill for those services. Going my way it is cheaper with what I have.
