Amazing, I remember when this was largest tradeshow convention in
Las Vegas. Dot com bust and 9/11 helped it's demise. They say it
will return in 2005. Who knows? Adeleson built the Sands convention
center with Comdex in mind. It was so huge that is took both the Las
Vegas Hilton Convention Center and the Sands Convention Center to
house it. A couple of years ago when this show had over 200,000
attendees a loss this large would have impacted the gaming economy,
now it is a small blip on the radar.
