XVP Check those Bills!

I stayed at Sunset Station the end of April this year on a marketing offer. Imagine my surprise when a charge appeared on my Amex statement. Of course I called a Host, who assured me that there was no charge. I also appealed with Amex. Today Amex sent me a copy of an invoice from Sunset - stating that the charge was valid. I read the invoice and it shows that I was charged for someone else's room!! Hope I can straighten it out...

How Amex can view that as valid is beyond me!

The only time I've ever been charged for a room on a marketing offer
was at Sunset Station. My host took care of it and it was credited
back to my credit card. Another time I was charged something like
$9. at NYNY, again, host took care of it.

You shouldn't have to if you have host, but I would not hesitate
to contact Lucie Marina, Player Development Director at SS 1-888-

I actually had the Hard Rock charge my credit card once when, I
swear, I did nothing more than contact them and ask what their room
rates were for certain dates. I ended up staying at the Rio, but the
HR charged my card for a room!

It escapes me how they got my card number, I think from a previous
stay, but it was pretty bizarre for this to happen.

I contacted someone there in marketing and he agreed to remove the
charges. I'm not sure he really believed me though that I had called
only to ask what they could do for me and had never made a
reservation.
