Hy,
lets see, Wynn had 1.1 bil in earnings,($6 a share after ebita or
roughly 50% of overall earnings ) 45 mil fom 1 month in macau, shares
sell for $100 as of fri which is about 16.6 PE ratio ($100 stock
price / $6 a share) per yahoo finance
Add 11 more months from macau= 500 mill more =1.6 billion possible
within a year, $8.50 earnings per share at PE of 17 times= about $140
stock price.
Add the 2nd casino in Macau due to open in July, plus the Encore in
vegas $200 price per share someday is possibile
Station casinos going private & thats too bad, took me a while to warm
up to the stock , now I dont want to sell! The announced expansion
plans + the fact they control most the raw land zoned for casinos in
Vegas area means the company will grow the top line for years to come.
Boyd may benefit as the last publicly traded "locals casinos"
availibile , just dont like the management , was hoping they would let
the Coast people run co. , But with Gaughn takin over Southpoint &
most his former mangement staff goin with him kills that idea.
LVSands (venitian) stock price gone thru the roof, strong presence in
Macau, 2nd casino in vegas, Singapore & China are possibilitys in the
future , worth a look at.
MGM-Mirage , might be fairly price now, need to see what future plans
are.
Never liked Harrahs , think they sold too cheap as in 50% , look for
the private co. buyin them out to sell some of assets for BIG money.
Rio, Ballys & Paris as a combo most likely, Michael Gaughn perhaps?
IGT, I feel most of the future Penn. casino bizness is in the stock
price now, BUT with expansion elsewhere plus the machine replacment
side of the bizness could be solid performer in future
I feel gaming stocks are good investment because the gaming is
expanding worldwide & is us babyboomers favorite leisure activity & we
are just starting to retire.
Seems that private investment companies agree.
All of my opinon above is "strictly bizness" has nothin to due with VP
inventory & slot club performance or ease of comps or anything else,
Just $
Plz go to yahoo finance & crunch the numbers yourself, it is a lot of
