XVP Car rental in Las Vegas

LDW is for damage that occurs to the vehicle you rent, most insurance policies will cover this damage, if you have coll/comp and they will apply your deductible, what you really have to watch out for is Loss of Use and fees which are not covered by your personal auto policy. You need LDW if you don't carry full coverage on your own policy. There are lots of gray areas, even for insurance professionals.
We are very pleased with Budget and won't even rent from Payless again.

Thankyou all for your input, it is very much appreciated.

I noticed one thing, nobody includes the LDW insurance when posting
about rental fees. Thats 14,99 a day extra en makes it rather
expensive. Do you not take any insurance?
