The lower buffet prices hurt the player who has a President or
Platinum card. Your faced with more people in the buffets. People
from the neighborhood who don't gamble at Stations and bring in
a bunch of kids. Not only that the comp line is loaded with seniors
who are not handicapped and try to take advantage of the shorter
line. Stations rarely asks seniors to show their handicapped pass.
As far as the Palms their buffet has gone downhill since it opened.
They used to have crispy chinese chicken which they no longer offer
because of the cost. Maloof will now be under more pressure to cut
corners.
I've noticed most buffets have much worst quality in years past. One
in particular is Bally's Big Kitchen Buffet. The price has gone up
and food has gone down. They used to have the best chinese buffet
food in town. It was better than you would find in most restaurants.
Today I wouldn't serve it to a dog. It's the bean counters revenge.
Bally's like Las Vegas use to be. Give me a break!!!!
