Hi Brian! First of all congrats on the BIG win!
Not ever playing in a tourney--except one of
those slot tourneys where all you do is pound
the slot button--I can relate to being nervous!
But don't forget that everyone of those pros
was in your positon at one time. . . .and that
you worked VERY, VERY hard to get to
where you can be so nervous (kinda sounds
ironic, doesn't it?) and you have "stuff" going
for you! Just use YOUR stuff and maybe we
can get Noahcat over here from the LVA
boards with her magic sparkles to give you
that extra ounce of . . . GOOD LUCK!!!
And you bet that we want to know every
step-by-step detail of ALL the action. We
want to know your every thot, word and
deed. . . . . .we're all going to be "living the
dream" thru you. . . . .

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You're on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go.... Dr. Seuss
This is somewhat comforting news to me, as I am understandably a bit nervous
about the upcoming UBT final table in Hollywood next month. I've tried to
learn counting in the past, it was like trying to give swimming lessons to a
brick. . . . . . . . Six professional tournament blackjack players and little ol' me. I feel like
I'm taking a knife to a gunfight! But I'm going to charge in there swinging,
and with just a wee bit of help from Lady Luck, I intend to give 'em all they
can handle.
