XVP - Breakaway Trip Report

Nice report. Happy birthday, Tom. At 70 years young, you're a few years ahead of me in life's progression --- but not many!

When I got the offer to go on that cruise, I declined because I had just divorced and wasn't dating anybody. Four months later when it was appropriate for Bonnie and I to share a ship cabin together, it was WAY too late to get a cabin for the August cruise.

Caesars is having at least two "make up" cruise dates for their Seven Stars guests --- and Bonnie and I are going on the same ship and cruise beginning October 6. Hopefully we'll have similar weather to what you had --- and no hurricanes! As a plus from our point of view, we'll likely have fewer children on board since it will no longer be summer vacation.

Hmm. I am already booked in a nicer room for that cruise. I wonder if I can get them to add the room credit and drink package to my existing room. I wonder if it will just be easier to book a second room through the seven star event and just check into both rooms and remember to use the balcony room for all charges. While I'm sure someone would know how to change my existing reservation, I'm almost positive it will never get to that person.

Hi Bob, we are getting back from that cruise on Oct.6. Maybe we will see you when we get off the ship.
