XVP "Boothling"

You WERE funny, Drew!

You are one of the few members of this group who is
actually funny. The others just think they are.

Brian, your point is well taken, and I've deleted my recent
post where I was trying to be funny. I should know better.

Thank you, Luke. It's nice to know I have one fan out there.

Regarding the term "boothling" I admit to having used the term before,
but since beoming friends with several slot club persons over the years
I rarely use it any more.

I do tip the slot club persons. Several ways I do this:

-At places where I have so many comps I'll never use them all (for
example, Peppermill, Reno) I stop by the booth and say I'm making a run
to the espresso bar, ask them what coffee, pastry, etc. they want.

-At places where there are promos that I might win money at I tip if I
win much of anything. For example, at the Palms I tip $1 if I win more
than $6 on a Megabucks Free Pull. If I ever win the Megabuxks you bet
I'll be handing out $100's all around.

-When someone in the slot club goes out of their way and does something
special for me I'll tip in proportion to the favor they do.

In general I don't consider myself a big tipper, but average. 20% at
dinner unless service is sub par. I rarely stiff, they have to really
be jerks to get stiffed. On the floor, I tip $20 for a $1000 hand
pay. $50 for $2000 and up.
