Thanks for the report , haven't been to Elko in years, but fond
memories. Cut my teeth counting cards there and played my first advantage slots (5
cent redhot 7's, treasure chest). What's really nostalgic is the flights we
took..$25 and they gave you $25 back when you got there.. no play
requirements.<<
As far as reasonable plays in Elko, you can still find the 9/6 .25 triple
play machines at the Commercial. There's $1 Pick 'Em at the Stockmen (at
the bar), the Commercial (the old slant tops) and for only a short time more,
at Gold Dust West. There's still the .25 Pick 'Em at the Red Lion and
Gold Country and few worn out .05 machines at the Stockmen.
