There is also NO medical PROOF that it doesn't. None. Zero.
The 2 studies were found flawed by nit only the circuit courts but
ongoing
studies by both MDs and scientists.
Your wife didn't get sick from smoking, she got sick from
bacteria. Casinos are
flush with bacteria and viruses, smoking doesn't cause illnesses
that
antibiotics fix.
Smoking has been proven to reduce prostate cancer risk 40-50%. It
reduces uric
acid kidney stones by 80-90%. It reduces Alzheimer's risk by 30%
and
Parkinson's risk by 25%. It increases mobility for Multiple
Sclerosis
sufferers.
It's amazing to me that anyone would quote this stuff. It is
irrelevant. Heroin also has SOME medical value as well. I suppose
that's proof we should allow anyone to use heroin whenever they want.
I agree that the second hand smoke data is not conclusive. That
doesn't change the FACT that it is unpleasant (or worse) to most non-
smokers. Why should YOU have the right to affect others in this
manner?
Employees are not forced to work in a casino. There are over
62,000 businesses
in the Las Vegas area that already privately are non-smoking. The
casino is not
YOUR property or ine or the public's, it is privately owned, like
a home.
Easy for YOU to say ... not to mention callous. Unfortunately,
finding good paying jobs to support a family is NOT as easy as YOU
would want everyone to believe. I guess YOU consider YOUr right to
smoke is more important ... But then we already knew it was all about
YOU. Sounds like another case of NPD.
I will continue to smoke wherever I can, unless the owner tells me
to stop.
Your government has zero power on private property, and I've
already won over
numerous smoking citations, and I'll continue to beat them.
YOU seem to ignore the fact that smoking is completely offensive to
many people and has been proven to harm individuals with other
breathing problems.
I suppose if I threw-up in YOUr face and said "tough shit 'I will
continue … whenever I can' since it hasn't been proven to impact
YOUr health" would be perfectly acceptable to YOU???
Personally, I have no problem with others smoking as long as they
keep it away from those of us who dislike it (YOU know, the vast
majority). And if YOU do, I promise I won't throw-up in YOUr face.
