XVP: BEGINNING OF THE END FOR SMOKING IN CASINOS?

you got to be kiddingno proof that 2nd hand smoke is not causing us non smokers problems you spoke like a true addict smoker, signed an x smoker

Absolutely. No one should have to endure the danger of tobacco

fumes in order to earn a living. the majority of those who earn a
living work at a job that they are able to get and do not have the
time or funds to find another just so a minority that has a difficult
addiction to overcome can continue with that said addiction. This
also applies to those who enjoy the casino games in that it should not
be hazardous to their health. Once smoking is banned in casinos all
will get used to it as they have for restaurants, theatres, schools,
hospitals, government buildings, etc.

What a socialist, unbelievable. A query of over 100 employees in Las
Vegas has proven to me that almost 80% of those asked would rather
have smoking back. There has been no casual link between second hand
smoke in the work environment and danger to health -- none. The vast
majority of complainers are a minority of eaters (a great minority)
who seem to be affected but have no obvious clinical studies of why.

Second hand smoke is neither dangerous, nor is it hard to control in
order to have a pleasant separated room for smoking. A restaurant is
PRIVATE PROPERTY, no one is forced to work there, and no one is forced
to eat there. The rules should be set by the owner of the property,
not by employees or patrons. If the employees feel endangered, they
can always quit and work at a retail store or a facility that doesn't
cater to smokers. To blanket the entire country with idiotic laws is
irrational, and against freedom.

I have received over 30 tickets for smoking in cities with smoking
bans, and I have not received one (not one) fine or guilty verdict.
These laws are unenforceable, and the police are quickly learning to
not ticket those violating unenforceable and unconstitional laws.

As it stands, we smokers will be standing up for private property
rights more as property owners realize that they are truly harmed by
regulations on how they can use the space they own and maintain for
their own profit. We believe in private property, not the right to
smoke. If a private property owner bans smoking or tells me to stop,
I will. If they don't, I won't. It is none of your business, go
shop/eat elsewhere that caters to YOUR desires.
