XVP: BEGINNING OF THE END FOR SMOKING IN CASINOS?

LOL what a clueless (lets see, how do you say moron and stay within the
guidelines of the group) lower IQ human.

What a socialist, unbelievable. A query of over 100 employees in Las

have smoking back. There has been no casual link between second hand
smoke in the work environment and danger to health -- none. The vast
majority of complainers are a minority of eaters (a great minority)
who seem to be affected but have no obvious clinical studies of why.

Second hand smoke is neither dangerous, nor is it hard to control in
order to have a pleasant separated room for smoking. A restaurant is
PRIVATE PROPERTY, no one is forced to work there, and no one is forced
to eat there. The rules should be set by the owner of the property,
not by employees or patrons. If the employees feel endangered, they
can always quit and work at a retail store or a facility that doesn't
cater to smokers. To blanket the entire country with idiotic laws is
irrational, and against freedom.

I have received over 30 tickets for smoking in cities with smoking
bans, and I have not received one (not one) fine or guilty verdict.
These laws are unenforceable, and the police are quickly learning to
not ticket those violating unenforceable and unconstitional laws.

As it stands, we smokers will be standing up for private property
rights more as property owners realize that they are truly harmed by
regulations on how they can use the space they own and maintain for
their own profit. We believe in private property, not the right to
smoke. If a private property owner bans smoking or tells me to stop,
I will. If they don't, I won't. It is none of your business, go
shop/eat elsewhere that caters to YOUR desires.

So non-smokers are the highest form of being in the universe? Talk

about clueless. I am a non-smoking(smoked for 10 yrs) college
graduate and agree 100% with adam.dada. If 2nd hand smoke killed
people, I would have been dead years ago. Why can't we have smoking
places and non-smoking places? What happened to free will and self
responsibility?

LOL what a clueless (lets see, how do you say moron and stay

if the smokers would have gotten off their fat you know what and
gone out and voted, this law would not have passed in its present
form. so live with it, you are the ones that are responsable for it.

Casino worker's in Atlantic City have gotten lung cancer and emphasema from their jobs, even if they never smoked. It IS dangerous.
Whoever thinks smoking isn't dangerous for themselve's and others should just go back to Mars.
Personally, it doesnt bother me that much as long as the room has good ventillation. But my wife has gotten sick a couple of time's from being in a smoky casino. Then she has to take antibiotics to get rid of it.

That's a pretty bold statement. If you've survived this long it
doesn't mean you haven't been affected by second hand smoke. Only time
will tell. (And I certainly don't wish anything bad on anyone.)

Have you ever considered a rudimentary course in logic? Using your
logic one who has recovered from a gunshot wound would be PROOF that
guns do not kill.

Most of the comments I have seen in this thread make me just shake my
head. Currently, there is not OVERWHELMING evidence that second hand
smoke is dangerous, however the data is suggestive that the more second
hand smoke one encounters the more likely you will have health
problems. Personally, I simply dislike smoke. It makes me sneeze and
cough which is pretty good evidence my body thinks smoke is bad.

Finally, there is no PROOF that VP machines are fair and random. We
assume our gov't officials are on the up and up but short of allowing
each of us to inspect the code in VP machines we will never have PROOF.
That does not mean it isn't true.

Not sure if anyone has made this observation yet.

Played a little at Sunset Station today. There used
to be a bank of 8 Optimums in a non smoking sections.
They are no longer there, along with all of the other
games in that section (Monopoly big event and a bank
of 3 other multi line VP). I looked around for them,
but couldnt find them anywhere else in the casino.

I thought they might be in the old tournament section,
as that is now been converted into a normal play area,
while the tournament section has been moved to near
the Bowling Center.
