For those of you who got the anniversary offer at Barbary Coast, here is my experience on 11/30/05. The free gift is car organizer. We used the dinner for 2 at Drai's and found out that there is a $100 limit on the comp. I found this out when the bill was presented. I checked in at the booth, gave the coupon to Liz and thought all was set. Nothing was mentioned about any limit. We went to the restaurant and had a nice meal. The meal was $205 with tax and our waiter informed us that the comp was only for $100. I paid the rest of the tab and then went to the Club booth again. They informed me that the limit of $100 was imposed by Ozzie, the new slot club manager. I will talk to him tomorrow and see what the story is. Details to follow.
I don't have the offer in front of me but I don't recall seeing any limit on the offer. Since entrees were a la carte and ran $30 - $55, a comp for $100 was a little light.
If BC wants to save a few bucks on the marketing offer, that's fine. All they had to do was spell out the details.
Look for an update after I talk to Ozzie tomorrow.
